Getting ready for delivery

Games are scheduled to allow for eight ends.  Some delays cannot be avoided, but we can all do our part to keep the game moving.

Shooters: 

• Be ready to take your shot.  Grab your stabilizer if you need one, clean the bottom of the stone, and remove your gripper from your slider foot.  

• Don't try to save time by getting in the hack before the Skip calls the shot.  Once the Skip is ready THEN get in the hack.  If the Skip changes the call, step out of the hack so you can realign yourself. 

Sweepers:

• Help out your teammates by bringing the rock over to the hack, and a stabilizer, if your teammate uses one.

• Leads: it's your job to bring the rock to the hack and clean the area for your Skip.  If your Skip uses a stabilizer grab that so your Skip doesn't have to look for it.  Happy Skip = Happy Team!

• Stand near the T-line.  Don't stand near the hog line or farther up.  Sometimes the Skip will call for you to sweep as soon the stone is released.  That's a waste of good sweeping time!
